Privacy Policy

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to psychological tests and related services offered at deepanshutomar.in/tests, operated by Deepanshu Tomar (India). For questions, write to [email protected].

What data we collect

When you take a test, we collect only what is needed to deliver your result:

• First name — used to personalise your experience within the session
• Email address — used to email you your free result summary and, if you purchase, your PDF report
• Gender (optional) — used for basic demographic context in the scoring; you may skip this
• Age range (optional) — used for context; you may skip this
• Test responses — your answers to each question, used to calculate your result
• Language preference — English or Hinglish, stored in your browser
• Theme preference — dark or light mode, stored in your browser

We do not collect: your IP address for tracking purposes, device fingerprints, browsing history, or any biometric data.

How we use your data

• To display your test result immediately in your browser
• To email you a copy of your free result summary
• To email you your purchased PDF report (if you buy one)
• To process your payment securely via Razorpay

We do not: sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it to build profiles, or send unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

How your data is stored

On your device (localStorage): Your test session — name, answers, result, and language — is saved in your browser's localStorage. This never leaves your device unless you choose to submit an email. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings or by reading our Data Processing page.

On our servers: Your email address and name are stored only when you (a) submit your email during the test to receive a result, or (b) complete a payment. This data is held on secure servers and is not shared externally except as described below.

Third parties we use

• Razorpay — payment processing for PDF report purchases. Razorpay processes card/UPI data directly; we never see or store raw card details. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — font files served by Google's CDN. Google may log your IP as part of this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• jsDelivr CDN — serves Three.js, Motion, and GSAP libraries. jsDelivr may log request metadata. See jsDelivr's policy.

There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no social media pixels on this page.

Your rights under DPDPA 2023 and GDPR

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data (we will comply within 30 days)
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — at any time, by emailing us
• Grievance (DPDPA 2023 users in India) — lodge a complaint with us first; unresolved complaints may be referred to India's Data Protection Board

Retention

• Session data in localStorage: retained until you clear your browser data (you control this)
• Email + name (submitted during test): deleted after 30 days if no purchase is made
• Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law (GST compliance)
• PDF report data: retained for 6 months post-purchase so we can re-send if needed

Minors

Our tests are not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service. If you are 13–17, we recommend taking the test with a parent or guardian's awareness. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
